We have been using Visme to create some of our infographics and visual presentations for a few months now. While some minor improvements could be made to the software, we believe that it is an excellent tool for saving time and creating high-quality professional deliverables.
Time is saved from the start to the end of the design process. Visme provides excellent templates that save the user from needing to sketch out an infographic on paper. The structures provided by Visme can be fully changed and adapted to your project pertinently.
This user-friendly software is full of resources that will allow you to create sophisticated presentations, graphics and more. If it happens that there is something you don’t know how to use, Visme provides you with plenty of easy to follow resources. We found the infographic tutorial videos compelling, interesting and helpful. It was also helpful to know that if in doubt, the interactive chat was available to solve any issue.
The fact that you can work from anywhere and from any device by just logging in, simplifies your daily office requirements. There is no need to install any heavy computer programs that will slow down your laptop, you just need a decent internet connection and a laptop to be ready to work. This gives us great flexibility.
Finally, the royalty-free image gallery is very well selected and helps to illustrate different ideas. All in one place, it is a time saver.
The main areas for improvement were around minor bugs in the system. For example, sometimes when an object is accidentally deleted or moved, the undo button doesn’t always bring the object back. Another issue is around the way that Visme uses blocks. Blocks are great for structuring your project but there is no ability to align objects sitting in separate blocks. This poses a major problem when making longer documents.
Despite these few minor issues, we definitely recommend Visme to anyone that needs to create images with annotations, process maps, timelines, infographics, design cover images for presentations or even for e-books.
Visme has really simplified our job in the hard world of being a small business owner.
